I started my career as a reporter, working newspapers in California before moving to Washington D.C. where I spent four years covering Congress, NASA and the Pentagon. Moving back to California, I spent five years managing media relations for Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company. From there I joined a high-tech PR firm focusing on launching start ups and promoting massive mainframe computing.
